Having worked as a Clinical Psychologist in the National Health Service for over 25 years I have gained considerable experience working with the full range of adult mental health problems. I have a particular interest in short term Psychological Therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Eclectic Psychotherapy and Counselling. I have been running a successful private practice providing a Clinical Psychology Consultancy with regular clinics across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire since 2001.
Private referrals are welcomed from General Practitioners, Hospital Consultants and other Health Professionals as well as the Legal Professions. A professional, competent, private and confidential service is assured.
As a Chartered Psychologist I am committed to high professional standards, ongoing professional development and fulfilling the requirements of my professional body, the British Psychological Society (BPS). I am an Associate Fellow of the Society and a full member of the BPS Divisions of Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Neuropsychology, and Educational and Child Psychology. I am a General member of the BPS Divisions of Health Psychology, Occupational Psychology and Sports and Exercise Psychology. I am a member of the BPS Section of Psychotherapy and also the Special Group of Coaching Psychology. I am registered with The Health Professions Council and subject to its standards of proficiency, conduct, performance and ethics.
Currently there is no waiting list and generally initial appointments can be offered within 1 week of referral in Nottingham, Derby, and Mansfield.
